Yankees Fall To Royals, Series Tied At 1

The Kansas City Royals scored four runs off Carlos Rodon in the 4th inning to beat the Yankees 4 to 2.

Salvador Perez homered and the Royals added three RBI singles in the inning to chase Rodon from the game. Jazz Chisholm Jr. homered in the loss for the Yankees.

The series is now tied at one game apiece, with Game 3 in Kansas City on Wednesday night. Clarke Schmidt will get the start for the Yankees against Seth Lugo of the Royals.

The Mets and Philadelphia Phillies will square off in Game 3 of their National League Division Series on Tuesday afternoon. That series is also tied at one.
