    Hattiesburg Couple and Another Individual Charged with Conspiracy to Commit Capitol Murder

    A couple from Hattiesburg, along with another individual, were recently arrested in connection with an assault from January 2024.

    On April 4, 2024, an initial arrest was made when Robert Pittman, Jr., was charged with attempted murder.

    On the morning of October 7, John Pittman, owner of local business Colombia Block and Brick, along with his wife, Randa, an owner of Southern Colonel Mobile Homes, were arrested and charged with conspiracy and attempted murder.

    These charges concern an alleged murder attempt that took place several months ago at the alleged victim's workplace. It is believed that all three individuals conspired together to plan the assault.

    According to a press release from Forrest County Sheriff's Office, the individual who was harmed in the assault sustained serious injuries.
