Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick knows a thing or two about top talent in the league. Vick was the top pick in the 2001 NFL Draft after a stellar career at Virginia Tech.

Vick then went on to play 13 NFL seasons and became the first quarterback in history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

Recently, Vick was asked about his opinion of Colorado Buffaloes' two-way sensation Travis Hunter, and Vick did not hesitate one bit. Vick even gave Hunter a new nickname.

The reporter asked, "When I say the name Travis Hunter, what comes to mind?"

Vick responded by saying, "Oh man. Explosive. First-round pick. No. 1 pick. That's all. Mr. Do-it-all."

That is a strong endorsement from Vick, and the way Hunter has played is certainly worthy of the No. 1 pick conversation.

So far in 2024, Hunter has 46 receptions for 561 yards and six touchdowns. On defense, Hunter has 15 total tackles with a forced fumble and a pair of interceptions.

So, Vick's nickname of "Mr. Do-it-all" is more than accurate for the Buffs star.

Hunter even moved up to second (next to Ashton Jeanty) on the Heisman Trophy odds list , so the Colorado star is having a massive year once again in Boulder.

Colorado is also off to a strong 4-1 start, with the lone loss coming against Nebraska, so Deion Sanders' team has done much better than in 2023.

At this rate, Hunter may very well be the first name called in the 2025 NFL Draft.
