That car will take me to a plane somewhere and we’ll fly to Salt Lake City. Then there’ll be a car to take me to the rink. So they better not have overtime in Seattle." When asked, no one in the NHL’s communication department "could recall a national announcer doing two games in one day during the regular season" (THE ATHLETIC, 10/7).</p><p>For the first time in their four-year history, the Kraken are opening their season at home -- "with a catch." With 1:30pm local start time on a weekday has led to tickets that "started at $40" on Ticketmaster as of yesterday afternoon -- "cheap for Climate Pledge Arena."
