I am all for a no phones out in the classroom policy. I also believe it's a matter of safety and every child needs to have a phone in their book bag. If there is a problem at school, my kids need to be able to contact me.

Students can go back to using paper and pencil for taking notes and if parents have a NEED to contact their child go back to calling g the front office!!! These kids DO NOT NEED A CELL PHONE DURING CLASS OR AT SCHOOL! It takes away from listening and learning.
