Iconic filmmaker John Boorman, 91, is still going at it, and has just gotten a long-gestating passion project of his greenlit for the big screen. His next film appears to be animated, based on a story he created for his children. “The Honey Wars” was a tale that Boorman used to tell his kids and now Dublin-based animation house Kavaleer Productions is developing it as a 90-minute film.
