NFL fans everywhere are echoing the same sentiment about New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers after head coach Robert Saleh was fired on Tuesday morning, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter .

Saleh was hired in January 2021 after serving as the San Francisco 49ers' defensive coordinator, but his time in New York has been challenging. He posted a 20-36 record with the Jets, facing major problems due to inconsistent quarterback play and injuries.

This season, the Jets are off to a 2-3 start, losing two straight games and managing only 26 points during that stretch. Concerns about the offense's struggles ultimately led to Saleh’s firing, with fans suggesting Rodgers played a role in the decision.

"WHOA! Aaron Rodgers has had enough," one fan tweeted.

"Guarantee Aaron Rodgers got Robert Saleh fired," added another.

"We all know Aaron Rodger’s made this happen," echoed one more.

Rodgers, who missed the entire 2023 season after suffering an Achilles injury in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills, was expected to turn the team around. Saleh, meanwhile, cycled through six different quarterbacks during his tenure with the Jets, struggling to find consistency at the most crucial position.

Fans were optimistic about 2024, believing Saleh would finally have a chance to succeed with Rodgers healthy and surrounded by talented offensive players and a strong defense.

However, Saleh is now out, though Rodgers’ close friend and offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, remains with the team.

"Rodgers got rid of him," remarked another fan.

Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has been named the Jets' interim head coach, according to Schefter .

With Saleh gone and speculation swirling about Rodgers' involvement, the team's future direction remains uncertain. Fans continue to share their reactions as the season unfolds.

Rodgers didn't get Salah fired. Salah got Salah fired. this team has underachieved since he's been there. to many mistakes over and over. his biggest problem has been with the offense since he got there. a head coach is responsible for the entire team.
