( NewsNation ) — Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler was robbed of his watch at a California horse racetrack, according to a local media report.

The incident occurred at Santa Anita Park, located 17 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles, KABC-TV reported. However, when it happened is unclear.

Buehler was reportedly with his wife, McKenzie Marcinek, when a mob surrounded the pair and allegedly took off his watch after unbuttoning his shirt sleeve cuff.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have not yet commented publicly on the situation. Buehler has not addressed the situation either.

Buehler did not play in the team’s Game 2 loss to the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series.

He did pitch in the Dodgers’ 7-2 Game 1 win Thursday, giving up one run and five hits. The series is tied at 1-1 ahead of Game 3 on Tuesday night at Petco Park in San Diego.

Buehler is in his seventh season in the MLB and has spent the entirety of his professional career with the Dodgers. He is a two-time All-Star and World Series champion.
