Kamala Harris Rips Trump on Stern Over Report He Sent Covid Tests To ‘Murderous Dictator’ Putin: ‘You’re Getting Played’

Vice President Kamala Harris accused former President Donald Trump of being “punked” by Russian President Vladimir Putin after a new report said Trump secretly sent Covid tests to Putin during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Harris joined Stern on his SiriusXM radio show following a live appearance on The View as the presidential election heads into its last few weeks. During the interview, Stern, who is voting for Harris, mentioned the report about Trump, Putin, and Covid tests from a new book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward .

According to Woodward’s account (which has been denied by Trump’s camp), Trump “secretly sent Putin a bunch of Abbott Point of Care Covid test machines for his personal use,” and the Russian president reportedly told Trump that “people will get mad at you” if they found out. Woodward also reported Trump and Putin have spoken at least seven times since Trump left the White House.

In her Tuesday interview, Harris repeatedly called Trump “weak” and framed the election as “strength vs. weakness.” Stern called it “maddening” and “insanity” that anyone would support Trump. He told Harris at one point he’s voting for her, but he’d also be willing to vote for “that wall over there” over the former president.

“I believe that Donald Trump has this desire to be a dictator. He admires strongmen and he gets played by them because he thinks that they’re his friends and they are manipulating him full time and manipulating him by flattery and with favor,” Harris said after Stern brought up the Covid tests report.

She added, “This guy who is president of the United States is sending them to Russia? To a murderous dictator for his personal use?”

“You only wish Putin would have gotten Covid and dropped dead. I wish that,” Stern declared.

Harris side-stepped this, but continued knocking Trump for supporting an “adversary.”

“Well, the point being that is just the most recent stark example of who Donald Trump is, that he secretly sent Covid test kits for the personal use of Putin, of Russia, an adversary to the United States,” she said.

The vice president also knocked Trump for not being enough of a supporter of Ukraine and their fight to stop Russia’s invasion.

“He doesn’t support our friend Ukraine, doesn’t support therefore something that America should always and has always by the way been a champion of, which is the importance of sovereignty and territorial integrity which means the importance of standing against anyone who tries to take another nation by force,” she said.

The vice president accused Trump of being “punked” by dictators like Putin.

“You’re getting played and some would say — look, I grew up in the neighborhood, some would say you’re getting punked if you stand in favor of somebody who is an adversary over your friends on principles that we all agree on,” she said.
