Celine Dion Sends a Direct Message to Kelly Clarkson After Phenomenal 'Titanic' Cover

From one vocal powerhouse to another, Celine Dion is giving credit where credit is due.

The legendary singer recently gave her honest thoughts on Kelly Clarkson 's recent cover of Dion's iconic Titanic track , "My Heart Will Go On"—and the situation has basically everyone crying.

Dion, 56, posted a video message directed to Clarkson via Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 8, where she thanked the talk show host and fellow vocalist for the "incredible" cover of her emotional Titanic ballad during a recent Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show .

While sharing the heartfelt message, Dion discussed Clarkson's reaction to her tear-jerking performance of "Hymne a l'amour" at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which left the "Since U Been Gone" singer unable to speak while breaking out in tears.

"Hi, Kelly. When I came back from the Olympics, I got to watch and listen to your reaction to my performance on the Eiffel Tower ," Dion stated in her Instagram video.

She continued, telling Clarkson, 42, "It was so sweet to hear you, your voice. Your voice was breaking, and it touched me so tremendously. You were crying, and then you made me start crying. What’s up with all this friggin’ crying?"

“And now I just saw you singing ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and I’m crying again," the "I Drove All Night" songstress exclaimed. "You were absolutely incredible, fantastic. I loved it so much."

While holding back tears, Dion concluded the video by saying, "I hope we can see each other in person soon, very soon. And I hope we’re not going to start crying. I love you so much. Thanks. Bye."

Unsurprisingly, the sweet message had both Dion's and Clarkson's fans, well, crying.

"I have no choice but to cry this is so beautiful 😭," one user wrote in the comments.

Another person added, "Incredible !!!! Our hearts will go on! I’m crying 😭."

"A legend supporting a legend. We love to see it. ❤️❤️❤️," someone else gushed, while another person wrote, "Imagine getting this type of compliment from the queen herself 🥲."

"We need Kelly’s reaction to this video 😭😭," one of the American Idol alum's fans wrote under Dion's post, while another person said Clarkson would "freak out when she sees this."
