    Flying to Florida from Boston? These airlines are allowing itinerary changes due to Hurricane Milton.

    Passengers should check with their airline before heading to Logan Airport, Massport says.

    Airlines are allowing itinerary changes in anticipation of Hurricane Milton making landfall near Tampa Bay, Fla., on Wednesday.

    Massport posted the following advisory on its website: “Due to weather, delays are expected. Passengers are advised to check with their airline on the status of their flight before coming to the airport.”

    JetBlue

    JetBlue, Logan Airport’s largest carrier, is waiving change fees and fare differences for customers traveling Oct. 7-11 between impacted Florida cities and Cancún, Mexico, the airline posted in an alert. Customers can rebook flights for travel through Oct. 17 online in the manage trips section of jetblue.com before the departure time of the originally scheduled flight. Customers with cancelled flights can get a refund to the original form of payment. Original travel must have been booked on or before Oct. 5.

    United Airlines

    United Airlines will waive change fees and fare differences for flights purchased on or before Oct. 4 for travel between Oct. 7-12, the airline wrote in a travel notice. The airline listed the Florida citiies impacted. The new flight must depart between Oct. 5-19, and tickets must be in the same cabin and between the original cities booked.

    Southwest

    Southwest issued a travel advisory indicating that travel Oct. 8-12 may be rebooked in the original class of service as long as it takes place within 14 days of the original travel date and between the original cities. The airline listed the impacted cities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Cancun, Mexico.

    American Airlines

    American Airlines customers can change their trip without paying a change fee, the airline wrote in a travel alert that listed impacted Florida cities. The change fee is waived in any fare class if travelers purchased the ticket by Oct. 5, are scheduled to travel Oct. 8-10, can travel between Oct. 6-17, and don’t change their origin or destination city. Changes must be booked by Oct. 10.

    Spirit

    Spirit posted an advisory saying the airline is waiving change fees and fare differences for travel Oct. 7-10 at impacted Florida cities. After Oct. 17, the change fee is still waived, but a fare difference may apply.

    Delta Air Lines

    Delta Air Lines will waive fare differences when rebooked travel occurs on or before Oct. 15 in the same cabin of service as originally booked, the airline announced in an advisory, and listed impacted Florida cities. Change fees will be waived when rescheduled travel occurs after Oct. 15, but a difference in fare may apply.
