    Yelm Soccer hosts Bonney Lake

    Yelm soccer will host SPSL opponent Bonney Lake at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, on Yelm High School’s turf field. The matchup between SPSL opponents can be viewed on www.GoFan.Co .

    Yelm Volleyball hosts Rogers

    Yelm volleyball will host 4A SPSL opponent Rogers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, inside Yelm High School’s gymnasium. Tickets for the league matchup can be purchased online at www.GoFan.Co .

    Friday, Oct. 11

    Yelm Football hosts Bonney Lake

    Yelm football is set to host SPSL South opponent Bonney Lake at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Yelm High School in the Tornados’ annual homecoming game and celebration. Tickets for the league matchup between the Tornados and the Panthers can be purchased online at www.GoFan.co .

    Rainier Football hosts Toledo

    Rainier football will host C2BL opponent Toledo at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Rainier High School. The contest between the two teams can be watched online at NFHS.com, and tickets can be purchased at the gate.

    Saturday, Oct. 12

    YHS Class of 2004 reunion

    Yelm High School’s class of 2004 is hosting a “Homecoming Country Hoedown” reunion, scheduled for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Lisenby Farm, 25057 188th Ave. SE, Kent. The reunion will feature a “lively country-style theme.” Guests are encouraged to bring their boots and blankets for a “comfortable, festive evening.” Tickets for the event can be purchased online at https://lisenbyfarm.com/shop-1/yhs-20-year-reunion . Tickets for the event cost $65.

    Sunday, Oct. 13

    Stone City Farm Artvana painting workshop

    Stone City Farm, 297 Sussex Ave. W. in Tenino, will host an Artvana painting workshop at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at EventBrite.com after searching the name of the event. Tickets cost $45, and participants can expect to paint “Pumpkin Truck” artwork on their canvases. Pre-registration for the event is also required.

    Tuesday, Oct. 22

    Bloodworks Northwest blood drive

    Bloodworks Northwest will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Yelm Community Center. Appointments are required for the “best possible donation experience,” and same-day appointments are available at most locations. Photo identification is also required.

    Tuesday, Oct. 29

    Scare Trail at Cochrane Park

    The City of Yelm will host its annual “Scare Trail” at Cochrane Park, 750 Mill Road, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. It’s recommended that participants should be ages 16 and over. The city will also offer a less frightening “Spooky Trail” at Cochrane Park from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day for those unable to make the late night fright.

    Friday, Nov. 9

    Fall into the Holidays Annual Bazaar

    Yelm Emanuel Lutheran Church is hosting its Fall into the Holidays Annual Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the church, 206 Third Ave., Yelm.
