Aaron Taylor-Johnson Posts Rare Family Photo on Stepdaughter’s 18th Birthday

Aaron Taylor-Johnson shared a rare photo of himself and his stepdaughter to celebrate her 18th birthday.

The Kraven the Hunter star , 34, shared two photos on his Instagram Stories of himself and stepdaughter Jessie, whom he shares with his wife of 12 years, Sam Taylor-Johnson. Jessie is the daughter of Sam and her first husband, art dealer Jay Jopling.

The first photo is an older snap showing Aaron and Jessie embracing with the caption, "Happy birthday, BabyGirl 💕." The second is a more current shot of the duo hugging each other under a bright blue sky. Taylor captioned the second photo, "18 now…still my babygirl 💕."

Aaron is also stepfather to Jessie’s older sister, 26-year-old Angelica. He is the biological father of Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12, whom he shares with his wife.

In August, Aaron told Esquire that even he finds it hard to believe he is already a father to teenagers. However, it’s not surprising as he always knew he wanted a big family. “I was going to have a big family," he said. "I knew I was going to be a young father. I knew I was going to have many kids.” After a moment of consideration, he added, “Teenagers, man. I’ve got teenagers.”

The 23-year age gap between Aaron and Sam has often been commented upon in the press, but she told The Guardian in May that their children aren’t bothered by their parents’ age difference. “I don't think they care. They see two loving, happy parents so it doesn't really register. They just think people are a bit mean, or mad,” Sam said of the naysayers.
