I was sent there in the 90s for curfew/drinking type things, which violated my probation and I spent quite a few months on their "program." I do specifically remember things like meals in confinement and room time, but I also remember a really good staff that genuinely seemed to care. In retrospect, I feel they had my best interest at heart. I remember Columbine happening and them pulling us out of lunch to watch it on live TV in the classroom. I also remember that education was a joke. All in all, it was jail for kids...but I'm not left scarred by it.
