Southern California will experience slight cooling into Wednesday, but warm temperatures are expected to persist for the rest of the week, particularly in inland areas. According to the National Weather Service, a weak upper ridge will keep daytime temperatures 5 to 15 degrees above normal, with additional cooling projected by Sunday and Monday.

A marine layer will maintain cooler conditions along the coast, while inland regions, including the deserts, will see only minor temperature decreases. Dry weather is expected throughout the week, with a potential for slight rain and offshore winds early next week as weather patterns shift.

Residents should prepare for continued warm weather, especially in areas far from the coast, while remaining aware of changing conditions as the weekend approaches.
