The Chicago Bulls are set to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday to kick off their 2024-25 preseason . Over the offseason, a lot of Bulls storylines centered around health. Zach LaVine was one primary part of that after undergoing season-ending surgery in February last season.

Of course, the never-ending story of Lonzo Ball's injury status remained, too. Once more, fans were told there was a chance Ball would be healthy for the upcoming season, which, of course, didn't inspire much confidence. However, it sounds like Ball will actually see his first action this preseason since January of 2022; it just won't be during the Bulls' first game.

Lonzo Ball is the Bulls' Sole Name on the Injury Report

It looks like every player aside from Lonzo Ball will see the floor for some amount of time as the Bulls face the Cavaliers. There were some questions about newcomer Josh Giddey, but it seems he'll get his first taste of Bulls basketball as a member of the good guys.

It remains to be seen whether or not Ball will actually take the floor this preseason. The videos from practice have been encouraging, and the hope is the Bulls can present a healthy roster for the first time in almost three years.
