Lara Trump Claims Polls Are Wrong Because People Slip Her ‘Beverage Napkins’ Saying They’ll Vote for Her Father-in-Law

Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara Trump offered an unusual metric for measuring voter enthusiasm for former President Donald Trump .

The daughter-in-law of the ex-president appeared on Tuesday’s installment of The Ingraham Angle on Fox News, where she was asked about a recent poll showing that more voters believe Vice President Kamala Harris is the “change candidate” in the race.

“In the new New York Times /Siena poll, she does best Donald Trump as being the change candidate somehow among likely voters by two points,” Laura Ingraham told the RNC co-chair. “What’s going on there?”

“Well, I don’t believe that poll at all,” Trump replied. “And by the way, don’t take my word for it. Take Joe Biden’s word for it because he is the one who told us the other day, Laura, that Kamala Harris has been there side-by-side making all the decisions, of course, that we have seen in that White House. No one believes that there will be any sort of change with Kamala Harris. The people of this country are begging for Donald Trump to go back in that White House.”

She then revealed her methodology for dismissing the aforementioned poll and other surveys unfavorable to the former president.

“Our commander-in-chief, the leader of the free world,” Trump went on. “No one buys that Kamala Harris has the capability to do that job. And polls like that, I think, are absolutely ridiculous. I get slipped beverage napkins every time I get on an airplane saying, ‘We can’t wait to vote for Trump,’ ‘Go Trump,’ ‘Trump 2024.’ Or people just coming up to me these days, Laura, everywhere I go, saying how excited they are to get out and vote.”

It was unclear if Lara Trump was referring to flights she took on her father-in-law’s private plane.
