Tuesday's Downstate scores: Caesar Rodney out-duels Lake Forest in volleyball

FELTON — Caesar Rodney High won the final two sets to post a 3-2 victory over Lake Forest in a matchup of Henlopen Conference girls’ volleyball teams on Tuesday evening.

The Riders won the match by scores of 18-25, 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 15-13 to improve to 4-6.

Senior Reagan White collected 19 kills and 16 digs for CR with junior Thalia Brown adding 17 kills. Also leadng the Riders were sophomore Jannike Campero (3 aces, 15 digs, 32 assists), sophomore Adeline Wetzel (5 aces, 10 digs) and senior Kendall Blackwell (1 ace, 8 digs, 14 assists).

The Spartans are now 7-3.
