How. disgusting, $30k per student, more than what parents pay for the top notch ,Latin School. or Lab School, or even St Ignatius . and 80% Of our graduates can not read, or solve math problems at grade level. an average SAT score of 930, 120 points below the national average, yet we have the highest paid teachers for a large metro area. A brand new 1st grade teacher in the CPS starting salary is $66,000, does not include longevity or bonus. A catholic school 1st grade teacher makes $34,500. which produces better kids?
