Tigers Put Up Big Numbers but W is Still Elusive

(Griswold, IA) — Last week’s Griswold-East Mills turned into exactly what everyone thought would be be — an old fashioned 8 man shootout. Unfortunately, the Tigers lost 58-56. The game generated 868 yards of total offense — 378 for the Wolverines and 490 for Griswold. Tigers Head Coach Seth Lembke says it was close but no cigar

Bode Wyman was 19-44 passing for 327 yards, 6 TD, and 1 INT — his QB rating for the game was 146.1 which is extremely high. Connor Bowers had 7 catches for 122 yards and 2 TD and Auden Wilson had 5 receptions for 126 yards and 4 TD. All of them seniors so Lembke has a lot of confidence in them

Griswold still has only tasted victory once this year and the post-season will not happen but Lembke says there is plenty of things to play for

This week 1-5 Griswold visits 1-5 West Harrison/Whiting.
