Planning to vote on Nov. 5? Today is the last day to register.

You must be registered to vote by Wednesday, Oct. 9, (today) to vote in the 2024 presidential election. Check that your voter information is correct on the Missouri Secretary of State’s website. ( https://voteroutreach.sos.mo.gov/portal/ )

If you have moved within Missouri or from out of state or changed your name, you’ll need to register to vote again on the Missouri Secretary of State’s website. ( https://s1.sos.mo.gov/elections/voterregistration/ )

You can also go to the county clerk’s office on the upper level of the Texas County Administrative Center on North Grand Avenue in downtown Houston, a library or a driver’s license office. The forms to register to vote for the first time and to change a registration are the same.

Have a question about the process? Call County Clerk Peggy Seyler’s office at 417-967-2112.
