LS-H CC competes in Jordan Invitational

Tuesday evening, the Le Sueur-Henderson cross country team traveled to Jordan to compete in an invitational hosted by the Hubmen/Jaguars. The Giants boys team claimed 10th overall in the contest with the girls finishing 12th overall.

The boys were led by Owen Greisen who finished 16th overall with a time of 18:14.2 followed by Colton Wilson with a time of 19:06.9 to finish 27th overall. Dalton Wilson (20:07.2), Nathan Tews (20:11.6) and Josiah Juarez (20:30.9) rounded out the team scoring with Hunter Libra (20:48.6) and Liam Benson (20:59.5) also competing in the varsity race.

The girls team was paced by Norah Renstrom with a time of 21:07.6 as she claimed 12th overall followed by Ellen Renstrom with a time of 23:25.3. Caylee O’Day (27:08.1), Rosalia Storch (29:02.0) and Lauren Stueber (29:08.8) rounded out the team scorers for the Giants with Callie Greisen (29:17.2) also running in the varsity race.

LS-H is scheduled to compete in the South Central Conference race Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial H.S. The races are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
