HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police launch a new online reporting system for non-emergency incidents.

The city says it's an attempt at enhancing community engagement while streamlining services.

The online report system can be used for incidents like lost property, theft, car break-ins with no suspects, fraud, vandalism, or property damage.

The online platform includes step-by-step instructions and the ability to upload descriptions, photos, or other information for police to review in a particular case.
