Swatting incidents have been on the rise in Los Angeles in recent weeks, and the latest victim was popular social media streamer N3on and his crew.

According to TMZ , N3on and his roommates—who are in the middle of a 24/7, 30-day livestream on Kick—were sleeping on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 8 when the police showed up and led them out of the house in handcuffs.

Law enforcement officials told the outlet that they received a call at around 9 a.m. about a possible shooting or domestic violence incident at the address which was later determined to be a swatting attempt.

Unfortunately, while N3on has generated hundreds of millions of views streaming from his home over the past six days, he claimed his landlord is kicking him out because of what happened.

N3on is just the latest celebrity targeted in a Los Angeles swatting attack. In late September, LAPD received a call that led them to make a welfare check at an address that turned out to be Jennifer Aniston 's home. The caller referred to a friend who was "not doing well" and mentioned the possibility of self-harm.

When law enforcement arrived at the house, they were met by Aniston's security. After realizing who lived at the residence, they spoke with the actress (who assured them she was fine).

Just a little over a week later, LAPD showed up on the doorstep of Chris Pine 's home after receiving a 911 call alleging that someone had been sexually assaulted at his address. Soon after arriving, police determined the call was fake, making it the fourth "swatting" attempt at Pine's house.
