People Are Calling This Picture Of Hurricane Milton "Nightmare Fuel"

Hurricane Milton is hours away from making landfall in Florida.

The powerful category four storm is forecasted to hit somewhere near the Tampa Bay area sometime tonight.

Yesterday, Milton intensified back up to category five status, and people made an eerie observation of how it looked:

It looked just like a skull.

Senior meteorologist at The Weather Channel, Stu Ostro, compared it to Hurricane Matthew in 2016, which also looked like a skull:

As this person said, "When you see it, you can't unsee it."

People are obviously spooked by this development.

"Matthew is a trickster, no doubt, but Milton looks far more sinister," this person pointed out.

Another person called it "The face of climate change."

And this meteorologist said what we are all thinking: "Thanks I hate it."
