defendants need to learn to not emote in court either way the state is correct the officers developed probable cause based on reasonable suspicion that the suspects were part of a crime and armed and dangerous giving them the right to detain them and search them and this one fled. the reason that becomes relevant is the posession of the gun by one of them shows their reasonable suspicion was not baseless or unreasonable. they aren't charging this guy for the gun they are charging him for fleeing the detention. and they prove the detention was lawful by showing that in fact his associate did have a gun on him. if he stayed still for the detention he would have gotten no charges if he didn't posess a gun as a felon, so him fleeing a lawful detention is the charges because that's what it sounds like he did.
