Not on this day.</p><p>You'll want to plan ahead as we move toward the holidays — every single Walmart will be <a href="https://www.wkrn.com/news/national/walmart-will-be-closed-on-thanksgiving-day-for-5th-consecutive-year/#:~:text=In%20the%20past%2C%20Walmart%20was,has%20closed%20for%20the%20holiday.&amp;text=In%202020%2C%20the%20company%20decided,tradition%20and%20closed%20for%20Thanksgiving.">closed</a> on <a href="https://tasteofcountry.com/favorite-thanksgiving-foods/">Thanksgiving Day</a> this year.</p><p>This is the <a href="https://www.centralillinoisproud.com/news/national/walmart-will-be-closed-on-thanksgiving-day-for-5th-consecutive-year/">fifth straight year</a> that one of the largest companies in the world has decided to cease operations at all locations for 24 hours.</p><p>"Walmart stores will be closed once again on Thanksgiving Day so associates can spend the day with their families," a Walmart spokesperson <a href="https://www.nbc4i.com/news/walmart-will-be-closed-on-thanksgiving-day-for-5th-consecutive-year/#:~:text=(KNWA%2FKFTA)%20%E2%80%94%20Walmart,families%2C%E2%80%9D%20the%20company%20said.">says</a>.</p><p>Walmart <a href="https://x.com/stats_feed?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1654715537199439873%7Ctwgr%5Eb2932693794b32e80791109807fd0a18cb3b9cdb%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.as.com%2Flatest_news%2Fhow-much-money-does-walmart-make-in-a-day-n-2%2F">employs</a> more than 2 million people, and they want their workers to take the day off and spend it with the people they love.</p><p>Buckle up, this stat will take you for a ride: Each day, <a href="https://en.as.com/latest_news/how-much-money-does-walmart-make-in-a-day-n-2/">Walmart makes</a> $1.67 billion across all of its platforms. That breaks down to $1.16 million per minute!</p><p>So, the fact that the company is willing to lose out on $1.67 billion dollars to let its employees have the day to rest and spend with their loved ones is quite a statement.
