The Buffalo Bills have been one of the best franchises in the NFL over the last five years. Since 2020, they are second in the NFL in wins and playoff wins, and have been one of the perennial contenders in the AFC since Josh Allen found his grove and became one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

However, there has been a lot of meat left on the bone by the Bills in the biggest games, and a lot of that is because of the lack of situational awareness by head coach Sean McDermott. The "13 seconds" loss to the Chiefs where the defense allowed the Chiefs to take the game to overtime and ultimately lost the contest for Buffalo. The loss at home to the Chiefs where the defense couldn't stop a Kansas City offense that was completely lethargic for 18 weeks. The latest example of ineptitude came in Week 5 against the Houston Texans. The Bills somehow got back in a game in which they trailed 17-3, tying the game at 20 and getting the ball at their own three with 30 seconds left. Instead of running the ball and sending the game into overtime, the Bills threw three straight incompletions, gave the ball back to the Texans, and watched them kick a game-winning field goal.

This was just the latest reason for Bills fans to point and say "SEE!" about McDermott and add it to the list of reasons the Bills should move on from their head coach in favor of someone else. And according to Dan Graziano of ESPN , plenty of head coaching candidates want the Bills head coaching job.

"The Buffalo job is definitely the early leader for "Job that potential head coach candidates and their agents hope comes open," Graziano writes.

Graziano also adds that it doesn't appear the Bills have any sort of plans to move on from McDermott.

"I'll say what I've said whenever this has come up over the past couple of years," Graziano writes. "I have heard many on the outside speculate McDermott could be in trouble if the Bills keep failing to reach the Super Bowl, but I have never once heard from inside the Bills' organization that moving on from his has ever been a consideration."

While many Bills fans would love a change if Buffalo falls short of a Super Bowl once again, it doesn't sound like that is in the internal plans for the Bills.

Better question is who wouldn't want to live in Buffalo/western NY? Six months of great weather (Summer and Fall). No hurricanes, tornados, eathquakes or wild fires. Winter temps in the mid-20's. Occasional snow storm but you just need to be smart when it hits. Great, friendly people. Wings, pizza, subs and beek on weck. Easy drive/flight to the East Coast and Toronto. 20-30 minute drive to just about anything local. Reasonable housing costs. Local quality college options - from small to large, from secular to state university. Did I mention the Bills!
