WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently talked about potentially facing a top star from the roster. A veteran in the industry, he has built a remarkable career in WWE that has lasted for decades.

With more than three decades under his belt, The Undertaker has established himself as a legendary figure. He not only leads the locker room but also provides invaluable lessons for rising stars through his matches. The Deadman has engaged in fierce rivalries with Kane, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Triple H, and several others. In short, he has consistently delivered unforgettable performances.

In 2020, The Undertaker wrestled his final match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in a cinematic format. After this, he hung up his wrestling boots and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.

Since retiring, he has made several appearances on WWE TV, with his last being at WrestleMania 40, where he helped Cody Rhodes defeat Roman Reigns. In that match, The Undertaker choke slammed The Rock, who had interfered in their tussle. Despite deciding to retire, The Undertaker recently expressed his regret over missing the chance to face current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

The Undertaker says he would have drawn money with Gunther

During a recent conversation on the Six Feet Under Podcast, The Undertaker discussed his conversation with Gunther, expressing his desire to have faced him in the ring. He mentioned how their matchup could have drawn significant attention and revenue.

He stated, “I’d love to see him wrestle Undertaker, that’s who I would have loved to have seen him wrestle. I told him that…a few weeks [ago], when I saw him in Austin. I was like, ‘Man, I would have drawn a lot of money with you.’ He was very gracious. He was like, ‘Thank you.’ He thanked me. I told him, ‘You’re my guy.’ He goes, ‘I hear you’ve said really nice things about me.’ I said, ‘Yeah, don’t screw it up,’ [laughs].”

The Undertaker’s admiration for Gunther’s work is not surprising, as the Ring General has made a major impression on fans since he stepped into WWE in 2019.
