    Avid Trader Joe’s fans know that when early October hits and the first few crunchy leaves fall, Pumpkin Palooza is right around the corner. It’s a wondrous time of year when every TJ’s store is filled to the brim with inventive riffs on the iconic bright orange gourd, and things like pumpkin spice mini sheet cakes , chocolate mousse pumpkins and pumpkin-spiced teeny tiny pretzels take center stage. You might even consider Pumpkin Palooza to be its own months-long holiday due to all of the fanfare and hoopla surrounding the highly anticipated autumn on steroids event.

    Best of all, the annual return of Pumpkin Palooza means that plenty of fan-favorite treats and snacks make their dazzling reappearance on TJ’s shelves to the delight of pumpkin fans everywhere. Although some are more popular than others, a few delectable pumpkin-spiced goodies slip under the radar, allowing those really in the know to snap them up by the dozens.

    But, like most things at Trader Joe’s, once word gets out, it’s hard to contain the fervor as shoppers clamor to get their hands on the latest must-have autumn-ready find. And as always, you might want to go ahead and start the car for this one.

    Thanks to the fantastic searching efforts of TJ’s super-fan @traderjoesobsessed , word of the reappearance of the mouth-watering delicacy that is Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissants made waves on social media, and we’re racing to grab a box before they sell out.

    Buttery, flaky croissant dough gets topped with a heaping dollop of cheesecake-inspired filling laced with pumpkin puree and fall spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger. All it takes is a quick spin in a preheated 350°F oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, and you’ll be on your way to warm pumpkin-y goodness in no time. Even on the off-chance that pumpkin isn’t your thing, for just $4.99, you can grab a box of two to test them out for yourself.At the very least, you'll get a little fall-scented aromatherapy out of it, too.

    Of course, if pumpkin, cheesecake and croissants are your thing, you might want to follow one eager shopper’s lead and “pick them up this week!” Just make sure you save some for us!
