    Report of Suspicious Activity in Baldwyn McDonald's Parking Lot Leads to Charges for Guntown Man

    On Monday, October 7th, 2024, Jason Chism, Investigator for Prentiss County Sheriff's Department, along with Deputy Ray Jennings, responded to a call regarding the McDonald's parking lot in Baldwyn.

    The call was to report "suspicious activity," according to the Prentiss County Sheriff's Department press release.

    Mark Dewayne Curry, age forty seven, was arrested as a result of this report. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

    Curry, of Guntown, was given a bond of $20,000 by Judge Craig Bishop. He is currently being supervised by Mississippi Department of Corrections. His case will be presented to a Prentiss County Grand Jury.
