Even as the Ohio State Buckeyes prepare for a showdown against the No. 3 Oregon Ducks this weekend, head coach Ryan Day can't take his eyes off the recruiting trail. 2026 4-star playmaker Ryan Mosley will be committing to a school soon, and the Buckeyes want to poach the Georgia native from the Bulldogs.

Here's the latest on Mosley and the Buckeyes' efforts to build their 2026 recruiting class.

Georgia has been making a big push for Mosley, who projects as a receiver for some programs and a safety for others. Mosley recently admitted Georgia " wants me home ," and he had a great visit to Kirby Smart's Bulldogs last weekend.

But now, it's time for Ohio State to remind him why he left his summer visit to campus as " speechless ."

Mosley raved about the offer, “The offer from Ohio State means a lot. It’s a big deal for one of the top programs in the Big Ten to notice and offer you.” He also spoke about what stands out the most about the Buckeyes: “The atmosphere there and the football program are crazy.

The energy on the field is my type of energy.” Even more, he loves the coaching staff. Mosley said, “The coaching staff is great. I was able to have a good conversation with them, and I’m looking forward to building more of a relationship up.”

Back in the spring, Mosley added, "I’m still growing and getting better. My focus is to stay healthy through this process. I’ll continue to visit schools and building relationships with coaches and see where I’ll be a good fit for whoever’s program. I’m not sure right now when my commitment day will be.”

The pass catcher, who stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 175 pounds, boasts offers from elite programs such as Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Ohio State. Mosley's ranking is anticipated to be boosted following his commitment.

The Buckeyes have already secured a commitment from Chris Henry Jr., the top receiver in the 2026 class.
