On his Always College Football show, ESPN analyst Greg McElroy gave his list of the top 15 teams in the sport heading into Week 7 of the season.

McElroy did his weekly dive into “what the rankings should be,” and he says Clemson (4-1, 3-0 ACC) should be just outside the top 10 – at No. 11 – right now.

“Clemson hasn’t beaten anybody. They haven’t,” McElroy said of the Tigers, who have bounced back emphatically from their season-opening loss to Georgia with four straight wins over App State, NC State, Stanford and Florida State.

“But they sure look good, don’t they?” McElroy added. “They sure look like a team you would not want to play right now.”

Georgia is No. 6 in McElroy’s ranking of what he thinks the top 15 should currently be, with the Bulldogs coming in behind a top five featuring Texas at No. 1, Ohio State at No. 2, Penn State at No. 3, Oregon at No. 4 and Alabama at No. 5.

Miami (No. 7) checked in four spots ahead of Clemson on McElroy’s list.

The Tigers are ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25 and No. 11 in the Coaches Poll entering their Week 7 matchup against Wake Forest (2-3, 1-1 ACC) in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Saturday (12 p.m., ESPN).
