Spooky season is finally here, and what better way to kick off a season dedicated to screams and Halloween scenes than by diving into the most haunted place in all of Florida?

Wether it be an old cemetery, abandoned asylum, haunted house, or horror movie scene, something about the most haunted place in Florida is so disturbing that it landed on a list of the absolute creepiest places to visit across America.

If you've been looking for a haunted site to visit with your friends and family this spooky season, look no further than this bone-chilling location.

According to a list compiled by Thrillist , the most haunted place in Florida is Fort East Martello Museum . This spooky site got its scary reputation from a haunted doll.

Here's what Thrillist had to say about the most haunted site in all of Florida:

"Key West's Fort East Martello Museum is home to the OG macabre Florida Man, Robert the Haunted Doll. The inspiration for Annabelle, Robert was a gift given to the late artist Robert Eugene Otto. As a boy, Otto would blame the doll for all sorts of mischief, but the whole thing morphed from a cute little Calvin & Hobbes riff into something far more sinister. Some say the raggedy, weathered little sailor doll is cursed. He's reported to change facial expressions from time to time, and some say he'll let out little giggles. Oh, and some say he'll cause endless pain and suffering to people who disrespect him by taking his photo—which is difficult because he's, you know, the centerpiece of an entire museum."
