Rescuing a kitten in need is a rewarding experience. That little baby will show you in a multitude of ways how grateful they are to have been given a second chance. This is what Paprika the kitty does every time she sees her foster mom, and it's too pure.

Paprika may not have a lot of life experience to compare, but by the way she gives her all with every happy greeting it's clear she knows she was saved. Listen to her tiny meows when she sees her mom!

The contract between how Paprika and her mama Lemon greet me is so funny šŸ˜¹ Lemon is still a little spicy when she first sees me each day, but she quickly remembers we are friends! Paprikaā€™s adopted brothers, Sesame and Bagel, are almost big enough to play with her and she couldnā€™t be more excited! Please get your pets fixed and adopt instead of buying from breeders so more inmocent lives like these can be saved from over crowded shelters ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ» #rescuekittens #rescuedpets #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #fosteringsaveslives #fosterhome #fostermom #fosterkittens #orangecatbehavior #sassycat #catfamily

We're so glad @erin_fosters shared this update of the small kitten because she's been the star of the show, and we need to see how she's doing! Since Paprika's rescue a few weeks ago , she's been thriving under the care of her human foster mom and her feline foster mom, Lemon. Not only has she overcome severe illness, but she fit right into Lemon's litter of two and accepted her as her own.

People are living for these sweet Paprika videos. She has many fans rooting her on or chiming in just to say they love her.

"I love how she runs to greet you! Sheā€™s like 'my first mama!!'" one person commented.

"After mama hissed P squeaked like she told her mom to be nice," another joked.

"She loves you so much!! She knows you were her life support & literally saved her life!!!" another person added.

With Paprika getting bigger and stronger every day, we expect there will be more happy-making updates on her progress, especially once her slightly younger littermates are big enough to play with her!

Kittens Grow Fast in Early Weeks And Months

According to Paws, the development stages of a kitten fly by. Paprika is sitting comfortably in the "socialization" phase, which is from 2-7 weeks old and leaning toward "the most active play period," which goes from 7-14 weeks old. Paprika is entering into her play era, which means her sight is fully mature, her hearing is developed, she's walking, running and interacting with littermates.

Within a week's time, she'll be pouncing for fun, grooming herself and others, and doing all the cute things kittens do. The 7-12-week-old window is a fun time as the kitten explores the world around them, taking in and learning by observation.

Little Paprika has already hit so many milestones, and like other kittens her age and size, they'll continue to grow and learn at rapid pace until she's considered an adult cat at 18 months and older. If you have a kitten like Paprika, enjoy the stages. Blink and you'll miss it!
