On a positive note, a win is a win for the Bulls. However, a notable contributor who had a bad first half in Cleveland was Patrick Williams.

The Bulls' very first offensive possession of the game resulted in a turnover by the enigmatic forward. Williams was largely ineffective Tuesday, shooting 33% from the field and scoring just four points in the first half before sitting out the second half.

As mentioned in our Bulls 2024-25 season preview , Williams' NBA track record profiles as a role player more than a high-upside star. After the preseason opener, the next act in Williams' story arc likely revolves around whether he's a Bulls starter this season or not.
