Good evening everyone. That cold front touching off frost and freeze advisories along the Appalachians of Virginia and West Virginia, is also bringing some chilly conditions overnight to most of Michigan.

Clear skies and relatively light winds tonight, will help cause rapid cooling down to the near freezing or below freezing mark. For this reason, the National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory in areas of central Michigan, including the Grand Rapids, Flint, and Jackson areas.

Areas north of Grand Rapids, we could see some freeze conditions as temperatures are more likely to drop into the upper 20's to near 30. We could see more of the same tomorrow night, before temperatures briefly modify this weekend.

However, we could see more frost advisories and freeze warnings to start off the workweek next week as a new cold front sweeps by for a late-fall feel.
