Chaffee Art Center’s 63rd Annual Art in the Park Fall Foliage Festival will take place October 12 & 13 in Rutland’s Main Street Park at the Junction of Routes 4 & 7. Juried fine artists, craftspeople, and specialty food producers will be featured.

Experience a vibrant visual arts showcase at Art in the Park, featuring stunning oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, pen and ink drawings, mixed media, and photography. You'll also find a diverse range of crafts: handmade pottery, unique fiber creations like quilts and hand-dyed bags, crochet flowers, stained glass, custom jewelry, and one-of-a-kind iron, copper, and wooden art. From furniture to birdhouses, and even whimsical hobbit houses, there's something for every art lover.

Hungry? Savor delicious bites from the Rollin’ Rooster and La Chapina Guatemalan food trucks, with sweet treats from Loffredo's Italian Bakery and fresh kettle corn to satisfy your cravings. Enjoy live music all weekend with performances by Dirty Red Hearts, Ian Campbell, Jamie Snook, Caber Wilson, and James Gram.

Be on the lookout for randomly awarded Chaffee Bucks at the gates, spendable at any vendor throughout the weekend.

Art in the Park, Vermont's oldest ongoing arts tradition, is not just a festival but a celebration of creativity, all in support of the Chaffee Art Center.

Major sponsors include Yankee Surplus, Stewart’s Shops, Rutland Regional Medical Center, and Killington LTD, with generous in-kind support from Casella Waste Management and others. Plus, family-friendly fun from Wonderfeet Kid’s Museum!
