"Tell me who's been the better teammate over the years?"- Ex-Bull said Michael Jordan, unlike Scottie Pippen, never ignored his texts

Following the conclusion of "The Last Dance," Scottie Pippen blasted Michael Jordan in his book, "Unguarded." The legendary forward appears to continue doing so by co-heading the "No Bull Tour," a project aimed at refuting the false notions conveyed in the Netflix piece alongside fellow Chicago Bulls legends Horace Grant and Luc Longley.

As expected, some fans empathized with Pippen and viewed Jordan as a condescending and mean teammate. However, former Bulls center Scott Williams admitted he has felt more of a connection with "His Airness" than Scottie after their playing years.

"I text him, and he always responds," he told Daily Herald in 2021. "I know he's on the golf course or doing his business with his car or the Hornets. That I can appreciate. Like, 'Hey, I see you're going to be on Good Morning America to pump up The Last Dance. Are you up? You ready?' Little stuff like that."

"He's like, 'Yeah, my brother, I'm up. I'm ready to go.' Little things like that mean a lot. I know plenty of times I've texted Pip and it's been radio silence... So you tell me, who's been the better teammate over the years?" Scott added.

Williams couldn't understand Scottie

As a supporter of Jordan and Pippen, Williams tuned in on "The Last Dance." He understood that it was focused on MJ but also provided an in-depth look at the Bulls' journey to multiple NBA championships.

However, Pippen felt that the series did not accurately represent his contributions and sacrifices despite Jordan acknowledging him as the best teammate he has ever played with. That said, "Tank" can't comprehend where Pippen is coming from with his tirade at Jordan.

"I get it as Michael Jordan financed the documentary, and I'm sure he stirred a little bit towards himself because of that, but he gave Pippen the ultimate compliment that he was my favorite teammate of all time, and without Scottie, I don't win the six championships. So I don't understand what more he really wanted from Michael that Michael didn't give him that is considered a slight," Williams said .

MJ and Scottie to settle their beef?

Jordan and Pippen formed an unstoppable duo during their time with the Bulls , leading the team to six NBA championships in eight years. However, many didn't know that their relationship off the court wasn't as harmonious as it was on the NBA hardwood, especially as of late. It also didn't help that MJ's son Marcus had a two-year romantic relationship with Pippen's ex-wife Larsa.

Everyone in the NBA feels bad about how things panned out between one of the greatest basketball duos ever. But if Dennis Rodman said they will eventually settle their beef , there's some optimism about the two burying the hatchet.
