Meghan Markle once shared that she made a deliberate decision to distance herself from the negativity surrounding her, especially during her time with the Royal Family. In an interview with The Cut in 2022, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about her experiences and the importance of choosing when to speak and when to stay silent.

During the interview, Meghan reflected on her approach to forgiveness, stating, “I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive... But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I've really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.”
