Maxx Crosby was born in Lapeer, Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, where played college football for the Eagles just minutes away from the University of Michigan football team's campus.

On Wednesday, the Great Lakes State born and raised former two-time, Second Team All-Pro defensive end could not contain his fandom of the hometown Detroit Tigers.

The Raiders star took to X to share words of encouragement with Tigers players, coaches and fans as he kept his message short and sweet.

"KEEP GOING!!! @tigers," Crosby wrote with a Tiger emoji at the end of his message.

The message was viewed over 252,000 times on X as of Wednesday evening, just hours after the Tigers defeated the Cleveland Guardians at Comerica Park by a score of 3-0.

Fans and fan accounts responded in the comments section with one asking the Raiders star to return home to pair with Aidan Hutchinson on the Lions' rapidly improving defense.

Several other readers added comments asking for Crosby to "come home."

"Come home bro!" one page wrote.

"Come home king!" another said in a series of four straight posts from Raiders asking Crosby to return to the Motor City area.

"You gotta crawl out of the black hole and come home, broham," another fan added.

The Tigers will go for a series clinching victory on Thursday at Comerica Park against the Guardians starting at 6:08 p.m. ET in downtown Detroit. The Tigers currently lead the series two games to one after Wednesday's big win, their first home playoff game in a decade.
