I keep a water hose near burn pile. I spray around the pile soaking ground so to keep from spreading on the ground, I stay with fire till it's burned down, spraying across the top for ash getting airborne. I soak the spent burn pile before I leave it. ALL BECAUSE OF FEAR FIRE COULD GET AWAY FROM ME.
