OUCH. The Padres had the advantage. But their pitching was atrocious. And their bats went icy cold. On the flip side, the Los Angeles Dodgers put belt to bat and spank the Padres in Game 4 of NLDS; and now this series stands tied (yet again) at 2-2.

This is literally the series that keeps giving. Every game has been exciting. And just when you think you know which team has momentum, it switches again. Great baseball. Great matchup.

During Game four San Diego had a chance to send LA packing to Cancun and get the opportunity to celebrate in their own home by heading to the NLCS. But the Dodgers said hold up, not so fast Friars. We would like to invite you back to our place on Friday.

The Dodgers took an early lead and never let up. Mookie Betts who had been a silent entity in the postseason, continued his “wake up” tour. Blasting another home run in the first, just like he did in Game 3. From there the beating just continued and every Dodger in the lineup had an hand in it. Ohtani, Muncy and Smith did work. Lux, Smith and Betts hit home runs; while the supporting LA cast hit singles, doubles as well as engaged in a little small ball. Over the course of the game the lead just kept getting extended. In the end Los Angeles would win 8-0.

A big statement was made. This thing is not over. We will decide the outcome back in Dodger Stadium.

We are confident both fanbases are absolutely spent right now lol. It’s been a LONG week just about since this series got underway. Yet, the end is nearing, and both teams want to advance.

The Padres are all in because they want to finally hoist that trophy for the first in their ball club’s history. And the Dodgers want to achieve another full season championship after long last as well. But winning game five is the first step towards that for both franchises. So then, game 5 is going to be crazy.

This is it. This is for all the marbles, Friday can’t come soon enough. This is the type of stressful, elimination baseball we live for… so grab beer and popcorn people, the thrilling finale is upon us!
