The 48th Annual Poultry Festival’s conclusion brings the results of all the events published annually by the Light and Champion.

The Light and Champion have planned a spectacular special keepsake edition worthy of the festival itself and, more importantly, the event participants and winners.

Special Sections of this nature are essential to capping off the event. Included will be all participants for these events:

• Creative Arts Show

• Quilt Show

• Photography Show

• AG/Mechanics

• Chicken Trot

• Car & Motorcycle Show & Shine

• Wing It

• Chicken Clucking Contest

• Broiler Show and Auction

Advertising in the special section is now open and available to all businesses in Shelby County. This is a great way to continue the advertising efforts businesses displayed throughout the event.

The section is scheduled to be published on October 24 and will be available as an insert inside the Light and Champion and freely distributed at local area merchants.
