Houston seeded fourth in volleyball district tournament

The Houston High School volleyball team will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 3 District 11 tournament at Houston.

Top seeds Mountain Grove (1) and Hollister (2) will receive byes in the first round of the six-team event.

In first round matches Tuesday, Oct. 22, third-seeded Willow Springs will face No. 6 Ava and No. 4 Houston will take on No. 5 Forsyth. The winner of Houston’s match will face Mountain Grove Thursday, Oct. 24. The winner of the other match will face Hollister.

The district championship match is set for Saturday, Oct. 26.
