Kyler Murray, the former Oklahoma Sooners Heisman Trophy winner, has been the butt of a lot of jokes in the last few years. I'm not sure when or why it started, but Murray started getting a lot of hate over what he does outside of football as if professional athletes cannot have lives outside of their sport.

And, I'm not really sure why it matters if they are still performing on the field. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback plays Call of Duty in his past time, which is fine. A lot of fans and even media members play it, too.

Then, when Murray got an extension on his deal, the NFL fan community only made it worse because of one of the clauses in his contract. The clause says that Murray had to spend a few hours a week studying film, etc. without distractions from video games or TV. So, this raised some eyebrows, and maybe he had a problem playing too much.

Instead, he has since kept his head down and went to work.

Last Sunday, he was able to clutch up a win over the San Francisco 49ers, where he scored a 50-yard rushing touchdown. They have also had a big win over the Los Angeles Rams, where the Cardinals scored 41 points.

However, he recently posted a troll video on his Twitter account, harkening back to when fans mocked him.

To the trolls who memed me into a bag, thank you! I’m officially launching my CallofDuty partnership!

Murray posted a video with a man in a headband and a suit, with cameras and microphones all around him, explaining that he was filling in for Murray on the field and why Murray practiced the newest Call of Duty that hasn't actually been released yet.

Making this a partnership for him, while also balling out, is the ultimate troll video he could do during Texas Week, where a lot of the people who were probably making fun of him were Texas fans.

Barring a trade, Muray will be a Cardinal for at least four more years, maybe even five with an option attached. He's doing well and is still one of the great young players in the league.

With the Thursday Night Football game of the Seattle Seahawks, who are in first in the division, and the San Francisco 49ers, the Cardinals have a chance to take the division lead this Sunday if they win and the Seahawks lose, as they would be 3-3 with a 2-0 division record.
