    Boys soccer: Warriors tie Fort

The Waunakee boys soccer team knows the goals will come eventually. But, not just yet.

The Warriors outplayed visiting Fort Atkinson Tuesday night at the Pitch, but ended up tying 0-0.

Waunakee outshot the Blackhawks 8-2, but their team season total of goals scored remained at 5.

Head Coach Mike Baldwin sees growth as the season goes on. “These boys dominated the game… the other team didn't have any meaningful shots on goal. We challenged the boys at the beginning of the season to continue their soccer development and get better in every game. Although the score didn't reflect it, we are continuing to see this.”

Warrior goalkeepers Keaton Porter and Quinn Miller split duties in shutting out the Fort Atkinson offense.

Waunakee is now 2-8-3 and will host fourth-ranked Madison East Thursday night.
