Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie County Medical Center Corporation announced that Terrace View Long-Term Care Facility has again been recognized on Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes 2025 list. This prestigious award, which Terrace View has received in five consecutive years, is presented by Newsweek and Statista Incorperated. Of the 600 skilled nursing facilities that operate in New York State, 69 received this recognition for 2025. The awards list can currently be viewed on Newsweek’s website.

Wayland Brewing Company announced that it will open a seasonal taproom within their sister restaurant,
popular Ellicottville dining destination, West Rose. The taproom makes its debut this weekend during Ellicottville’s Fall Fest.
The upstairs lounge at West Rose has seen a rotation of themes the past few
seasons - most recently a noodle bar and raw bar. New Swiss ski chalet-
themed decor and a few added televisions aim to make it an apray party
spot.

Hertel Home Consignment celebrates the Grand Opening of their new location in Orchard Park - 3716 North Buffalo Rd! Ribbon cutting at 1pm today followed by an evening reception from 7pm-9pm with complimentary refreshments and giveaways! This is their third location. Other Hertel Home Consignment locations include Hertel Ave in Buffalo and Williamsville.
