Family Friendly Halloween Fun: Trunk-or-Treating & Outdoor Movie in Taunton

The City of Taunton's Park and Recreation Department has announced an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun. Taking place on the Taunton Green from Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 4:30 until 8:30 pm, the festivities will start with trunk-or-treating. Trunk-or-treating has become a popular Halloween tradition in the last decade, where businesses and individuals alike decorate their vehicles and hand out Halloween treats from their cars. The City of Taunton's Park and Recreation Department encourages everyone to dress up in a costume for this free-to-attend event.

Throughout the event there will be music by the Toe Jam Puppet Band, giving younger members of the family some live entertainment to enjoy. After trunk-or-treating there will be an outdoor family-friendly Halloween movie. The City of Taunton's Park and Recreation Department has not yet announced which movie will be shown.
