Two Men Busted Stealing Tires From Morris County Tire Center: Police

At 1:17 a.m., an officer was conducting a routine business check when he found two men, Eduardo Rosales, a 36-year-old Newark resident and Abel Rodriguez, a 32-year-old Bloomfield resident. loading used tires into the back of a small white box truck at ETD Discount Tire Center on Route 23 South in Butler, Butler police said in a release.

Police saw Rosales and Rodriguez taking the tires from a locked, fenced-in area at the business, officers said. An investigation revealed Rosales entered the locked-in fenced-in area and threw the tires to Rosales, who loaded them into the box truck, police said.

Rosales and Rodriguez were charged with burglary and theft, police said.
